About the event

Let’s practice street photography and learn about the Lumiere brothers, pioneers of the film technology and their influence on Lyon.

Together with local photographer Eugenie Prytula from Joyau du quotidien we’ll explore Monplaisir district. You will not only have a small guided tour, but also get tips on how to take better pictures in the street photography genre. Eugenie will share best practices and know-hows inspired by famous french artist Henri Cartier-Bresson: one of the most iconic French photographers. Join this event to meet fellow expats interested in photography and culture.  No professional gear needed, you can take amazing pictures with your phone or old film camera, but if you have a digital camera - bring it with you.  Eugenie Prytula is ukrainian, living in Lyon. She has a background in photojournalism and tourism, passionate about French art and culture.
