For the first destination, we are heading to the French Alps for a week. Come and relax with us in a charming chalet located in the heart of Haute-Savoie; Create beautiful memories while having fun.

All this in a large and comfortable luxury private chalet, a 5 minutes walk from the village and ski lifts. The chalet has a welcome common area to share group memories. It has a kitchen, a large convivial table, a living room with fireplace, 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It has a garden with jacuzzi on the terrace, a barbecue, and a sauna for relaxation! You can rest assured that you will be warm and cosy and warm all week long!

And of course, there are plenty of activities to discover the region! Explore the Domaine du Grand Massif by following the animals tracks during nature hikes, and be sure to take a day trip to Chamonix and enjoy local specialties!

Not to mention all the wonders the mountains have to offer, whether in the air, on the peaks or in the rivers... The Grand Massif playground has many surprises in store for you.

En route to our French holidays!

Day 1

Welcome to Samoëns !

Go directly to the chalet where Emmanuelle will be there to welcome you. She will give you a tour of the place and provide you valuable tips for a great stay.

You can find more about the location of the chalet in the section "How to get there".

This is a spacious chalet privatized for your stay where you can unpack your luggage for the week.

There are 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a large living room with a fully equipped kitchen and a sitting area with a fireplace, not to mention the sauna and the outdoor jacuzzi... everything is there for a relaxing vacation!

Located just 5min from the heart of the village, you will find everything to do your shopping, have a drink or dinner: no need for a car, everything is accessible by foot!

During the first evening, you do not want to miss this first group meal around the unique French winter traditions, the raclette! This is a perfect opportunity to meet your fellow adventurers and kick the week off!

Important : the chalet is available from 5pm

Included: Dinner (raclette, dessert, ¼ of wine)

Day 2 to 7

Well-being and fun !

Fresh air, powder snow, the vacation begins!

Tea, coffee and a small grocery store are available at the chalet. All you have to do is go to the bakery for your morning bread and pastries! (A restocking can be planned by you according to your needs and tastes). After a good breakfast, it's time to discover the region and go down the slopes!

During your stay, 2 activities are included. The exact day for each activity will be determined by our local partner upon your arrival, depending on weather conditions and availability.

Snowshoeing day on the tracks of animals

Your guide will take you on a snowshoeing trip on the snowy trails. On the way, enjoy a good fondue to regain your strength and continue your progress. Open your eyes wide to see marmots, chamois, ibex and many other animals braving this hostile nature! A breath of fresh air, ideal to recharge your batteries.

Apéro Suspendu in a cable car (to be detailed)

The rest of your time is free.

The opportunity to get some fresh air in the mountains, to relax or to perfect your stick planting. There are many activities in this resort nestled in the heart of the Alps. Discover the great outdoors, go cross-country skiing (extra charge) or let yourself be tempted by a private downhill skiing lesson (extra charge) to impress your friends!

Don't miss the Wednesday market in Samoëns. It is the opportunity to buy some regional products to extend your vacations at home.

For more fun, try Ski-Joëring, dog sledding or challenge your vertigo with a paragliding flight! All those options are extra charge.

Don't forget to enjoy the many local specialties after your activities! Fondue, raclette, blueberry pie, gourmets will all be delightful!

On the last evening, we willmeet at the chalet for a meal together. The opportunity to toast to the vacation and the beautiful moments shared!

Your first and last dinners are on us. The rest of the lunches and dinners are yours to decide and explore.

Apart from the first and last dinners, you are free to either go shopping and cook at the chalet or eat outside in the area. It's up to you!

Included : Dinner on the last night (fondue + ¼ of wine)

Day 8

Departure

After this invigorating week in the heart of the Alps, it's sadly time to leave.

The chalet is available until 9am, but there's nothing to stop you from enjoying the village a little longer, or making a last run.

You are now fully recharged after this little getaway in the fresh mountain air!

Welcome back home!

To give you all the flexibility you want, transportation is not included in this trip.

Check-in is only available between 5pm-7pm on March, 11th.

Check-out must be done by 9am on the last day.

Depending on your arrival time, Emmanuelle will see if the chalet can be available earlier on the day. Do not hesitate to inform us if you might arrive after 7pm for the check-in.

Highway A40 Geneva / Chamonix. Exit Cluses-Scionzier (n°18), Samoëns at 20 mn.

By train

Direct TGV lines from major cities (on weekends), arrival at the SNCF station in : Cluses (20 km), line Saint-Gervais / Le Fayet. Then connections by bus Société Jacquet or cab or car rental.

By plane

The Geneva-Cointrin airport is located 50 km from Samoëns. Connections by bus www.altibus.com or cab or car rental.

From Geneva, the Léman express allows you to go from Geneva to Cluses (train station 20km from Samoëns), see the timetable and the network map.

Transfer Geneva Airport with the Léman Express - Join Samoëns from Geneva :
Take the train between Geneva Airport and Geneva Cornavin Station (Departure every 10 minutes and 12 minutes of travel)
Take line 3 of the Léman Express towards Saint-Gervais-les-Bains-Le Fayet. Get off at Cluses.
Take the line 94 between Cluses gare routière and Samoëns gare routière. (timetable here)

Once you have booked your journey after the confirmation of the trip, we will send you some recommendations according to your departure location.

Important:

Do not book your trips before the confirmation of the trip.
We will not be able to provide you with transfers and hotel nights if you wish to arrive or leave on a day other than those mentioned in the program. If you decide to arrive or depart on a day other than the program arrival/departure dates, you will have to book your cab and hotel night by your own means, and join the group directly at the accommodation selected for your day 1, or organize your transfer from the last accommodation on the last day.

You will stay in a private chalet, warm, modern, sustainable and facing the mountain. This recent chalet is ideally located! It’s only a 5 minutes walk from all amenities, ski lifts and the center of the village, where you will find a square with its old lime tree, terraces and animations.

The chalet has a large living room with a fully equipped kitchen and dining table, a lounge area around the fireplace, and even a sauna! Outside, the garden and terrace are well equipped: plancha, deckchairs and outdoor jacuzzi! You can even take advantage of the relaxation area upstairs with table soccer, video projector, cinema screen, library and board games! How will you have the time to do it all!

Be prepared for a fun quiz about French culture.

The 6 rooms are distributed as follows:

On the ground floor:

1 room with a double bed and private bathroom 160x200 cm --> 1 couple or private room

On the 1st floor :

1 room with a double bed of 160x200 cm --> 1 couple or private room

1 room with two single beds of 90x200 cm --> 2 people (for women only)

1 room with two single beds of 80x200 cm --> 2 people (for men only)

1 mezzanine with three single beds 90x190 cm --> 3 people (mixte)

1 room with two single beds 90x190 cm --> 2 people (mixte)

10 people will stay in the villa.

The 2 bathrooms + 1 shower room are to be shared by all.

The chalet is non-smoking and animals are not allowed.

Parking is available for up to 4 cars.

A computer and quiet spaces are available for people who want to telecommute.

Early bird, until February 11th 2023: 990€

Deposit 300€ at booking (to save your spot)

Then 1 month before departure: price with early bird discount - deposit: 590€

Normal, from February 12th to February 25th 2023: 1090€

Full price: 1090€

Commitment is essential for our organization. At least 2 months before we start the trip we need to book the accommodation. That is why we need to ask for a deposit.

You will be refunded 100% (the deposit included) if the trip is not confirmed on February 11th 2023.

7 nights in a comfortable cottage, in single or shared rooms - it is ok if you can only stay 5 nights as all included activities are being planned during the first 5 days. The last two days will be reserved for free time.
Meals: Breakfast daily (7 breakfasts), 1 welcome aperitif and 2 dinners (raclette + fondue)
Activities: Snowshoe outing (3h) and Apéro in a cable car (50min)
